Outreach Program Work
An estimated 139 million migrant workers from the countryside work in India’s cities and towns. With factories and workplaces shut down, they are left with no livelihood.Hunger, lack of sanitary kits and loss of income to buy basic essentials have left these workers helpless.
India Future Foundation is ensuring that these affected families get the required support. IFF has set an emergency response team of volunteers, who are identifying places where government administration or other not for profit organizations are not able to reach. The volunteers are supplying dry ration and food packets to workers in Delhi/NCR. IFF is even working with Sangh Baudik Pramukh on Community Kitchen, essential supplies and distribution of cooked meals.
With four warehouses and two community kitchens setup in Gurgaon, IFF manages to support and deliver food in Gurgaon, South Delhi, Central Delhi and a few areas in NCR as well.IFF even has a cross verification team which checks if there is duplication of relief by other NGO or by administration. This ensures targeted delivery and avoids duplication of relief.
With coordination and help from the administration and police authorities, India Future Foundation’s volunteers are taking the risk to support these hapless citizens in every manner and are trying to reach out to as many of them as possible.
